Safeguarding Adults Week 2021
In association with the Ann Craft Trust, the Rochdale Borough Safeguarding Adults Board is holding its third annual Safeguarding Children Awareness Week 15 – 21 November 2021.
Safeguarding really is ‘everyone’s business’ and it is a responsibility we all share here in Rochdale.
The theme for this year’s Safeguarding Adults Week is ‘Creating Safer Cultures’.
Each day will focus on a specific topic to spark conversations around the theme of creating safer cultures including safeguarding mental wellbeing, how to stay safe online, adult grooming and the safeguarding adults board’s role in helping to create safer cultures through the multi-agency policies and procedures we have in place.
Due to the timing of this year’s Safeguarding Adults Week our awareness raising activities will continue to be delivered online; we aim to deliver a more in person, interactive event in 2022.
